Tasting Notes:

On the nose, this Spätlese enchants with its stony and smoky notes, encircled by vineyard peach and juicy, dried apricot as well as delicate floral nuances of white lilac. It is incredibly dense on the palate, with the stimulating taste of white peach. The play of aromas of raspberry leaves and spearmint is particularly exciting. We attest great storage potential and look forward to a long journey with this fine specimen.

What the others say:

Mosel Fine Wines, tasted in July 2021:

The 2020er Rausch Spätlese, as it is referred to on the front label, is a sweet wine (with 77 g/l of residual sugar) with a refined, rich, and ripe nose
made of apricot, yellow peach, tangerine, whipped cream, minty herbs, grapefruit, and lead pencil. The wine is nicely juicy and aromatic on the
sweet palate packed with exotic fruits and leaves a nicely light feel in the juicy and comparatively fresh finish. A sense of sweet roundness still
dominates the aftertaste at this moment, which makes us believe that this Spätlese will need quite some time to integrate its elements and even has
some upside. 2030-2045
