Tasting Notes:

Rigorous selection, 50 to 130-year old vines — this is not a Riesling to be trifled with. Fragrant notes of lilacs, cream and passion fruit give way to a dry, powerful core of citrus, salt and spice. Contradictions abound: tense acidity, creamy texture and a long lime finish. Like a sun-burnt sailor of yore, the sharp edges of this Riesling serve to protect its gentle, pure heart.

Serving Suggestions:

Serving Suggestions: The complexity of this Riesling calls for a bit more serious fare: sautéed veal with thyme, a freshwater fish carpaccio or a delicately poached salmon.
