Light, lithe and lacy; this is a Riesling for dreamers. Whimsical aromas of pink apple, apricot and white flowers mingle with cool, shy citrus and herbal flavors of lemon verbena and fresh thyme. The delicate residual sugar hides behind a playful acidity, only peeking out from behind the translucent curtains as morning dawns on the long, lingering and delightful finish.
With subtlety and intrinsic grace enhanced in the 2016 vintage, this Riesling makes a beautiful aperitif or a fine pairing with sashimi, cured salmon or Scandinavian canapés.
