Tasting Notes:

Simultaneously luscious and lithe. The intense selection of the 2017 vintage makes a normally good thing just a little bit better. Fragrant notes of pineapple, peach and above all else rhubarb mingle with a bit of apple and spice. A tense, focused acidity drives the wine across the palate, while the deep, smoky minerality begs you to stop and smell the roses along the way. This push and pull delivers an electrifying tension to the palate and leads to the crisp, almost crunchy pure rhubarb finish.

The future is clear with this one, you just need to have the patience to let it emerge.

Serving Suggestions:

In its youth, a sure win with any dessert such as strawberry pavlova, blackberry pie; given a few years, this would be a beautiful accompaniment to a plate of spiced king crabs, baked lobster, or swordfish.
