Tasting Notes:

How do I love thee, let me count the ways?

‘Tis a good thing that the poetess Elizabeth Barrett Browning never met this Riesling or she’d still be counting today.

Is it her smoky slate whispers, her ripe summer fruits of vineyard peach and wild strawberry, or perhaps her tropical allusions to mango and pineapple? Lithe, playful flavors skip nimbly across the palate, sometimes juicy, sometimes savory, sometimes salty, always delicious. Each piece is attuned harmoniously to the others, delivering a single, delicate balanced liquid ecosystem in the glass.

While beautiful in its youth, time in the bottle (minimum 5 years, preferably 10) will allow this traditional kabinett to reach its full potential.

Serving Suggestions:

An olfactory delight with a wide variety of dishes from pan seared scallops, to baked trout to spicy Asian fare -- especially a spicy beef salad or noodle dish. Or simply a well curated cheese plate.
