Tasting Notes:
An elegant Riesling Spätlese from an exceptional Saar vintage.
Delicate notes of apricot, peach, passion fruit and pineapple sashay out of the glass.
The balance between opulent fruit and racy acid is pulled taut by a slate-tipped minerality unique to the Saar.
And the true concentration and density of this Riesling is revealed in its exceptional finish. While drinking wonderfully now, this wine will continue to mature over the next 25 years.
Serving Suggestions:
Recommended as an aperitif, with cheese, or with very spicy cuisine.
