Tasting Notes:

Deep vines tend to lead to deep wines: The nose opens with a
delicate reduction together with wet stone, meadow flowers, lemon
verbena, and grace notes of peach and apple. The taut palate
exudes a structured, grippy elegance, unafraid of its acidity and walks
the tightrope between refreshing, ripe and racy. Immeasurably
complex without ever losing its nuance and noblesse. This is what old
vines can do.

Pairing:

Dishes to highlight the subtlety of this Riesling include white fish
such as trout or baked carp, lighter Thai curries, or — for the
vegetarians — an elegant potato gratin.
